About me

I am an amateur photographer from Turku in South-Western Finland. I enjoy many kinds of photography, from urban abstracts to rock photography.

For me photography is a way of being creative. I can’t compose music, I’m not very good at choreographing dance routines, my drawing skills are somewhat limited. But I carry my camera around with me almost all the time and I can observe. Observe and capture beauty, patterns, oddities, life. I don’t claim to belong in the category of realists when it comes to photography, but on the other hand, I don’t even own PS. My images are my versions of this world. I hope you like them. And if you don’t, feel free to give me constructive feedback on them. Life is a learning experience.

Please do remember that all images posted in this blog are copyrighted and owned by me (unless otherwise noted). You are not allowed to download & use them without my permission. But ask nicely and I’m sure we can come to an agreement.

Hi Johanna! I stumbled upon your latest “hiking post” by searching for the tag “photo walk”. I really enjoy your posting style, and I love your Finland impressions – I may be a bit subjective after living in Tampere for a year 🙂 I look forward to read more from you! Cheers, Anja…
